All in a day's work

Yesterday (fri), i had a dept lunch. It was my 1st proper meal in 3 days since i extracted my wisdom tooth. Still, i couldn't eat that much although there was my fav lo-hei. The bits of nuts just somehow sneak over to the painful side no matter how i tilt my head.

After lunch, i joined the loyal JB petrol gang n filled up my empty tank. By the time i got thru all the customs n back, it was late afternoon oredi. So i went straight to ntu n met up with peiqi. The plan was to check out the standard of ntu tkd as they were having selections, then rush down to changkat with peiqi for the gathering. Not unexpectedly, the standard was below par n we ended up spending some time to correct a couple of people. So we were late for the gathering (ok, peiqi assured me that the others were late too ...).

Nevertheless, we rushed down at night n chatted at the good ol' coffeeshop till past midnight. Slept till noon today. Watched kungfu mahjong in the afternoon, continued my game (i conquered china again) n went for the big dinner. It's a custom for us to hold this dinner every 7th day of CNY since it's everyone's birthday (ren ri).

As usual, i can't eat much but i seem to have put back the weight i lost over the last few days. Maybe i had too much red bean soup with glutinous rice balls. Everyone gave them to me as they were all too full while i was still partially hungry. Damn!

After dinner, i picked elinn up n went over to peiqi's house. Dehua n ivan dropped by too. Guess most of us were too tired to have a proper party so we just watched DVD (should hv brought triple X instead), ate peiqi's culinary, drank wine n played some card games. I probably killed the mood for gambling...

Just got home n am very tired. Yet, i can't seem to sleep. The wine's not working. And tomorrow, i've gotta teach the super-enthu big kids n small kids... :(
