Ups and Downs
It's depressing to know that Gei had passed away from old age. To commemorate this, I decided to abstain from chicken tomorrow. For me, one day without chicken meat is a big deal. I know Kokok must be very upset too right now, and i wonder how long more he's going to last...
Just came back from guiyang. Everyone (including the ah tiongs) was amazed that my 86-year-old granny could complete the hike up and down the hundreds of stairs (some slippery) to look at some waterfall n caves. Even my friends were like feeling tired from all the walking and climbing! For me, i was having mental stress more than anything else. Totally freaking out from the idea that my grandma would slip n fall at some point in time. Fortunately, my friends, especially carol, were really great help n very considerate. 3 cheers to them!!
I'm now back to my roller-coaster life in beijing where i get last minute notice to pack n fly somewhere. For example, late this morning, i was told to fly to shanghai in the afternoon for a meeting tomorrow morning. Sigh... and i'm so losing focus on work because i'm just thinking of where to go next for my coming holidays. Err.. yeah, i know i just came back from one but i need to go for another one already!!! :)
