Too much food

I know I've MIA for about a month. It had been an eventful month. Firstly i had to fly to guangzhou for a couple of days to fight fire. Then i had to fly there again the followng week. This time, i brought my grandma with me. My younger sis flew from singapore to meet me at guangzhou during the weekend. Pretended to work on the following monday before taking off to HK. It's holiday time again!

Right, i chiong all the food that i had been drooling over for the last few months. Even if it meant eating yong ji gam lou (the mango dessert) 3 times in 8 hours and walking in the rain. Fortunately, i made the right decision in staying at the hotel right next to hung hom station cos we were just THAT close to missing the train after dim sum breakfast. Took the train back to guangzhou, then off to the airport for hainan!

Sanya was beautiful but ridiculously expensive. Jet ski costed 150RMB for 10 min. So i took the power boat with my younger sis instead. After all, i've got my license. Ok, it's not recognised in china but whatever. Travelled to haikou and stayed at the sheraton. It was so much like a paradise! For the entire holiday since HK, i had been staying in hotel suites, but in haikou, the suite was the biggest (we could literally play hide n seek) and sea-facing with a balcony! The entire scenery was just perfect. Rented jet ski from sheraton since it was cheaper at 120RMB for 10 min instead. Shiok ah!! Of course, my grandma wasn't very keen in beach activities and was mostly in the room watching her dvds.

Finally it was time to head back to beijing. Rested for a day before going back to work. Yesterday night, I had scheduled my grandma n sis to eat dadong duck with carol n julynn but as it turned out, i had to go to wuhan last minute and miss my dadong! And even so, i had to pay for my grandma n sis's share of the meal!!!!!! :( Anyway, they're heading back to singapore tomorrow morning leaving me here all alone again. This just means that.... it's party time!!!
