Heating up

The week flies past quickly. Finally, I spent one of my weekends on a movie. Saw kungfu panda with brenda n lichin, which i tot was quite funny. Very simple storyline and i didn't know the tiger was angelina jolie until the end! Damn!! On sunday, i caught the ballet Sleeping Beauty performed by royal ballet held at the national theatre. While the individual performances were good, i was slightly disappointed with the combined movements as i tot they lacked practice on the coordination.

Last weekend was scorching HOT. It was hovering between 38 to 40 degrees and everyone felt like they were radiating heat. One thing for sure is that, beijing is definitely quite energy-saving as the airconditioner was so weak that carol literally used a fan throughout the ballet performance at the theatre. I remember in singapore where i had to wear a jacket or sweater in the cinema and esplanade..

Yesterday, i called my regular cab driver to send me to the client's place as usual. Didn't realise that he had a troupe of people filming for the olympics together with him. 2 japs also came from tokyo to film beijing for their programme. I ended up being filmed in the process and they convinced me to have lunch together. Apparently, the beijing filmmakers love er-guo-tou and i had to drink some too. Sighz... i know, i'm quitting alcohol.. and i went back to office in the afternoon with a total splitting headache that lasted till night. Sighz..........
