IR = Ridiculous Inflation

When i first stepped into the long-awaited IR, i was quite impressed with the build up and shops brought in. Everything looked good, with universal studios similar to those i saw in japan n US. Can't believe it's here on SG island!

Went there at dinner hour, so went in search for food with a growling stomach. It was then i realised that the IR wasn't so good after all. Since most of the restaurants are not open yet, i could only rely on the push-carts for savoury food. And there i was shocked. The chicken pau was $5. Siew mai is $3.60. I didn't dare to see the rest. And they were all normal dim sum sizes! I dunno what they "pau" in the chicken pau, but i sure won't dare eat it. I mean, if it wasn't wrapping gold flakes, why does it cost the equivalent of 2 plates of chicken rice??

Then it struck me. The IR is going to lead the next wave of ridiculous inflation in SG. That's what the IR is for.
