Good times are short-lived

And... my niece won the sheng siong singing competition!! It's amazing how it all happened so fast. On saturday, i spent 4 hours printing her A2 size poster (kudos to uncle david for his help!) before going down to sim lim sq. By 6pm, everyone was out of the house and on the way to mediacorp. I had to pick up some relatives on the way there. The countdown had started and my niece was very very nervous with a sore-throat. The atmosphere was just so intense. All the other participants had invested heavily on banners, costumes and props. We really thought there was no chance and told her to just have a good time on stage. The shouting, the cheering, the waving, the whistling, the jumping... before we know it, she's a winner!

Just when i tot i just got back, i've gotta return to beijing already. It's a real quick weekend, spent very fruitfully with my family. I really feel very sian and really wish i could just stay longer. I never felt such strong bonding with my family till now. For the first time, i feel home-sick. Yeah, i'm now in the singapore airport lounge n i feel home-sick, i dunno why. Maybe like what carol said, it's time to go home.

Then my colleague had to sms me now and remind me about the meeting tomorrow morning. Actually, it's in less than 12 hours time. I am beginning to hate my job.
