On merlion soil

I'm finally back in Singapore! The feeling of being back home is just great, although i'm flying to US in a couple of days time. I'm so glad I pushed the US trip back by a day. There's so many things I need to do during this short period of time. Apart from resolving my apartment issues, settling bills, exchanging currencies, etc, I still have to find time for tkd, family and friends. Suddenly, I'm running out of time.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I managed to ride a horse in NZ finally!!! :) Did it in Christchurch and poor yoyo got thrown off the horse after being scared by some buggies. Rite, I need to continue my work now and think about how to get over my upcoming multiple jet lags...

Mooooooooooo...............................

I'm so sleepy. I'm literally counting down to the number of days to Singapore. This place is so slow and backward. Internet is expensive, people not knowing what speaker phones are (even the best hotels have to hire a speaker phone???), travelling on planes with propellers, city-dwellers writing in to refute govt's plans of expanding roads as it makes pple unhealthy (as they stop exercising??)....

I really need to get out of here. This place is excellent for retiring, but before i get to that stage, i can't be here. It kills my adrenaline! I DON'T WANNA TALK TO COWS ANYMORE!!!!

Building stresses in the air

I'm so stressed out. Even as I don't think I'm doing last minute purchase of air tickets, my flights to New York and Tokyo are sold out whether on economy or business! I've no choice but to use my PPS status to waitlist for flights now (am i getting infected by my colleagues or what??). Sianz.

From Hamilton to Wellington, yoyo and me took the tiniest plane we had ever sat in. We thought we were going to crash any moment so we sat at the emergency exit door.. I can't imagine having to take the plane back to Hamilton next week, especially since the ride was as bumpy as the boat ride from HK to Macau. U get the idea. For now, our plans this weekend is shopping, then idling at the boat house along Paraparaumu on Sunday. We'll definitely need to find time to do some work too, since we really are tight on deadline. As it is, the work is looking to spill to the 4th week of Sept, which means i can't spend more time in Christchurch. I also want to be back in Singapore by 28 Sept to celebrate my mum's birthday. Otherwise, I'll need to get her another LV bag..

Current plans are to fly to New York on 30 Sept night after class. Will drop by Arizona and Las Vegas for a week before being stuck in Hartford for my conference for another week. Thereafter, I'll be in Singapore for a COUPLE of hours literally then stuck in Tokyo for 3 weeks. That is, if I can get my air tickets...

NZ - 1st week

It has been at least a week in NZ. I've been so busy with work and driving through the different towns of NZ without a driver's license. I actually forgot to bring my license! But that still didn't stop me from going at 180km/h here... :) Nope, i didn't knock any cow or sheep down so far, although I see more of them than humans.

My last weekend was a road trip from auckland to rotorua. Didn't go down taupo n visit the volcanic mountains cos i think i was too tired. Now we're deciding where we should go this weekend, while trying to finish up the work at the same time. I'm really thinking of just idling at some beach resort. Or ride a horse. I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND A HORSE TO RIDE ON!! :( That just shows how busy I am.

I need to get back to work before these kiwis disappear for the day again.
