i AM stressed out! Really!!

I've been working till late almost everyday. So much work and so high expectations, it's driving me crazy. The worst of it all is, no one actually believes that i'm stressed out! My colleagues are asking me how I deal with so many things at one time and still look so cool about it. And nothing I said convinced them I was under stress. Is it my face or what?

To make myself feel better, I'm starting to have fans. A few of my staff are really idolising me for some reason. Like last night, one of them waited for me till 11.30pm to leave the office so that she could take a 2km cab ride with me. Nope, I didn't bribe them. Now, I not only have stress from work, but also freaking out from my staff. How?????

I killed the boss!

Now that my passport's held by the embassy for a couple of weeks, I'm going to be stuck in beijing for some time. This means that I can focus on my game! And yes, I've just completed my game despite spending last night drinking at Centro (yup, there's Centro in beijing and it hasn't collapsed yet)!! The feeling of beating that big boss at the end of the game is just so shiok. Since my game is completed, I shall be able to start catching up with my huge pile of overdue work and read the news. I bet I won't even know if Beijing snowed the last few days. That's the kind of commitment I have to my game. Oh my anime too. Ever since my new-found cousin told me about Seiya, I went to download all 34Gb of it and it's sitting on my hard disk waiting to be watched. It better be nice. I'm also downloading another 16Gb of yet another anime...

Tomorrow, i'll be attending an african service at church. Kemmy intro-ed the place and I hope it's good. Thereafter, i had better go buy winter clothes or i'll freeze to death. Really don't like wearing all those clothes, makes me feel so heavy and fat. Maybe singapore's weather isn't all that bad after all. Then again, the humidity sucks. Singapore's too wet, while beijing's too dry. As it is, the skin on my back is peeling already, while other parts of my body are showing signs of dryness. I can feel myself becoming wrinkled up real soon. Probably it's time to put all those moisturisers i took from all the hotels to good use.

Trishaw or Cab?

I realised that I haven't updated my blog for a month! In case you're wondering, yes, I did survive peiqi's visit to beijing and bunking in my house. I had been just so busy. 2 weeks ago, I was in Hebei for a couple of days, then flew straight to Shenyang. Had to celebrate my birthday in that cold land before coming back to beijing for like 1.5 days. Then off to Zhuzhou. Got hit by gastrics on the first working day there. Threw up around 6 times within a day. Still, I had to be there for a week, before I came back to Beijing for yet another short stint (1 day) then off to HK!

So i'm in HK for like 4 days, and each night, I slept on a full tummy. Or should I say, overflowing? I'm just so deprived of GOOD cantonese food. HK is simply THE BEST. Went back to the DVD auntie to help my younger sis get some korean drama, but it was her rest day. Pity. Let me take stock. I had that tai cheong egg tart, dim sum, roast goose, yong-chi-gam-lou (daily), roast duck, roast pork, wonton noodles.. did I miss anything out? Oh, I didn't eat wife's biscuits this time. Instead, I got myself a dozen krispy kreme! I'm just growing so so fat.

Today, I just got out from carrefour n was deciding between a trishaw and cab. Suddenly, it hit me that the decision is just so tough. Trishaw is 2RMB cheaper, but cos the poor lady has to ride me n my groceries all the way back in the cold (2 degrees), i'll end up paying her what I pay the cab driver anyway. If I take the cab, it has heater, much faster n can stop me in the underground carpark so i dun need to walk in the cold, but it means that the poor lady has to continue waiting for customers in the cold. What should I do?
