Chinese "names"

When i first went to china, one of the cultural shocks i had was the names used by the chinese. Some examples include:
- Water
- Miles
- Banks
- Chairman
- Chilli
...

Yes, these are like REAL names of the chinese here! Here's a conversation i had with Water:

Me: How come u have strange names like Water?
Water: My name is normal, everyone can remember. Not like veronica (another colleague's name), her name is so weird!
Me: Err.. veronica is a normal name, don't u know??
Water: No, we always cannot spell that word properly. It's not even found in the dictionary!

Just when i thought i'm used to the chinese names, a friend told me that she needs to talk to..... silence. I'm like huh? That's when i realise that someone is called Silence. N i simply can't stop laughing out loud!

Wish u a merry christmas n a happy new year!

Merry christmas to everyone! I took off from BJ on christmas afternoon n landed in SFO on christmas morning. How cool is that. It just means i'm spending christmas getting over jet lag. Oh, the feeling of being able to facebook, blogger n youtube just feels so good. It's like u're out of prison n breathing fresh air. Well, there's simply no christmas atmosphere in BJ, except for a couple of ugly looking christmas trees scattered sparsely around town.

This year's countdown is to be held in SF after 11 months of voting. Now, it's time to sleep n prepare for my 6am breakfast.
