A LOT of people

I suddenly appreciate the fact that China has many people. When the snow storm hit many countries 2 weeks ago, almost all of them had their traffic handicapped. None of the cars could move, no one could go out. But in BJ, every 100m had at least 5 people sweeping snow non-stop. Very quickly, most roads were cleared of snow that it's so amazing!

Snowstorm

It was a nightmare coming back to BJ on 3rd jan. Although the flight delay was expected, the snowstorm wasn't. Lucky or not, mine was one of the 8 planes that landed in BJ airport the entire day. As such, there was no cab at the airport waiting. Instead, there were TONS of people at the airport waiting for cab! And in china, when there are TONS of people, there really is A LOT of people. And in case you're wondering, the airport express train between the airport and town broke down due to the snowstorm. How timely.

2010 party

So we partied at the streets of san francisco. The party music was good, but everything else wasn't. The drinks sucked (maybe cos it's free flow), the floor was all dirty n wet with alcohol, all sorts of people were continuously coming to dance with us... :(

Since we had pre-pre-drinks in the hotel, pre-drinks for dinner and drinks during the party, eve n carol didn't manage to stay sober. While carol fell multiple times in the toilet (with the black wet floor), eve had a fantastic time with some korean guy jason n her hokkien descriptions of what went on between the 2 of them was so hilarious! She has requested us not to share with anyone so i shan't put them here.

For me, this trip was a lot more disciplined. I only spent money on food n hotel. Minimal shopping. N minimal resolutions too. I realised something during this trip though, but i'm running late for my flight (again) n therefore will only put them down the next time i can blog. Ciaoz!
